Which three books would you recommend?
A Year with Swollen AppendicesBrian Eno
Brian kept a diary for one single year. I learned much about his thinking and working strategies on his music and art production. It is likely the most influential book on my own practice.
De Bono's Thinking CourseEdward de Bono
Edward De Bono was first recommended to me by my late brother in law Armin. I read him at 18, thought it interesting and forgot all about it. When I reread it at 35 and completed all the exercises, it changed my way of thinking.
FreedomJonathan Franzen
Without knowing it, I had looked for an all-encompassing novel about our time, and Jonathan's magnus opus told me the most about what it means to live in America right now.
Whose reading list are you most curious about?
Steven Pinker's and Jonathan Haidt's.
