Nicole McLaughlin is a designer that focuses on upcycling and sustainable fashion. Her work is known for its tongue-in-cheek approach, using unexpected materials to highlight the message of sustainability. I'm a fan of motivational books and books about money and entrepreneurship. I read this book right around the time I left my corporate job and went freelance. It was insightful, motivating, and has helped maintain that motivation.

It's the ability to communicate without words that I gravitate to and something I try to incorporate into my work. And thanks to this book, I know a lot more about positioning lighting to optimize my space.
